The historic Ogdensburg Harbor Light is at the junction of the St. Lawrence and Oswegatchie Rivers in Ogdensburg, NY.

The lighthouse was established in 1834 and the current tower and keeper's home were erected in 1870.

Purchased from the federal government in 1964, by Thomas G. & Laurel B. Roethel, the lighthouse was originally restored in the 1970's.

Today, the lighthouse is home to Blair Roethel and his family.  Blair finished the keeper's house initial restoration in 1992.  He has been maintaining the grounds for over two decades.

PLEASE SIGN OUR GUEST BOOK!!  Our Dad, Thomas G. Roethel always had a guestbook at the base of the tower.  He was always so proud of how many people from all over the world had visited.  With your help, we can keep his tradition going.  It only takes a minute and the cost is free.
